Turn off 2-Step Verification |
Go here: https://myaccount.google.com/security In the "Security" section, select 2-Step Verification. You might need to sign in. Select Turn off. |
Allow access to less secure apps |
Go here: https://myaccount.google.com/lesssecureapps and allow access to less secure apps |
Basic setup in Linkio Outreach |
Go here: https://app.linkio.com/eo_inboxes_settings Click “Add Inbox” and select “Add Custom Inbox” Outgoing SMTP Incoming IMAP |
Save the Inbox and then open it up again and click “Test Deliverability” button. | You will probably get an error message that says “Failed to verify deliverability. Cannot send email, original error was: 534-5.7.14..." |
Check if Google blocked the access with a security alert |
Check your inbox for a security alert message or go here: https://myaccount.google.com/security If it did, open the alert and select “It was me” to override the block. |
Try to Test Deliverability again. If the same error message occurs, do this |

If that still doesn’t work, Open a new Incognito browser window in Chrome. Go to Gmail.com and sign into the email account you’re trying to pair. Once signed in, open a new incognito tab and open this URL again: https://g.co/allowaccess and click the Continue button |
