Heeeelllooooo! 👋
Confused about whether or not you picked the correct ideal percentages?
Here is a quick "If/then" system to figure it out.
Let's start with a Blog Post that you're trying to rank.
You have 2 options.
- Option 1️⃣: You can use Linkio's default ideal percentage suggestions for a content page OR
- Option 2️⃣: you can analyze competitors and use their Average percentages as your ideal.
For Option 1️⃣:
If you use Linkio's default percentages, just make sure it says "Content Page" here.
If it doesn't, click the "Change Ideal Percentages" button and choose "Content Page" from the Default Percentages dropdown
For Option 2️⃣:
You'll want to Add new competitors, analyze them, and then set your Ideal percentages to their average.
We have a full breakdown of that here: Analyzing Competitor Anchor Text Percentages
Sometimes, you might think you want to use competitor data, only to find the data isn't so good. Then it's fine to default back to Option 1️⃣.
